Sista’s Book Club is a local group that promotes literacy within their community, ask pills and a group of women who truly celebrates authors. I recently received an invitation to participate in their celebration of romance author Iris Bolling. Club President Barbara Winston shared how Sista’s Book Club gives back to their community: Throughout the year, discount they promote and invite various authors to participate in a discussion with the club about their book. They also sponsor special events and donate proceeds from book sales to a local charity. This group of women is very committed to supporting not only authors, sick but the community in which they live. I shared a few moments with Iris Bolling and truly enjoyed our conversation about her very first romance novel Once You’ve Touched the Heart (Siri Enterprises, $12.95). The second novel of the series is The Heart of Him (Siri Enterprises, $12.95), released last fall.
These romance novels will introduce you to Tracy Washington, an innocent young woman whose heart strings become twisted with love and suspense. You will also meet Jeffrey Harrison, a powerful man in the political arena. You will want to wrap yourself in a blanket with a hot drink and be left undisturbed until you read the last page. Prepare yourself for book two as you follow the career of Jeffrey and sit on the edge of your seat as the story evolves. Will Mr. Harrison become the first African American President? Learn how the love and romance between James and Ashley becomes a runaway rollercoaster with a lot of hidden family secrets. Once you have completed these great reads you will want to share them with your significant other. Your conversations may generate a little romance too!
I give kudos to Sista’s Book Club for introducing an intriguing story of love and suspense and author Iris Bolling.
