When it’s Aaron Gilchrist and Heather Sullivan, co-anchors of “NBC 12 News Today,” the result is reliable and engaging reporting where you live. On weekdays from 5–7AM, the Anchor Desk at WWBT brings together appealing personalities with contrasting, yet complementary careers. Offering weather, traffic and news, 12 News Today also features Andrew Freiden and Tracy Lynn.
Although Aaron was born in New York, his family moved to Richmond when he was only 6. Heather, who covers business news as well as the weekly Restaurant Report for Channel 12, is originally from California. But this summer, Richmond made its way into the reporter’s heart—even if she’s still learning her way around Richmond.
