Water aerobics is a great method of cardiovascular exercise that is easy on the joints. Because the body is buoyant, there is little impact on knee and hip joints, and it alleviates pressure that can affect the lower back.
Aqua participants include the elderly, pre/post-natal women, athletes, children, the obese, those with limiting injuries and those who simply enjoy the water and want to stay in shape. Most likely there is a class available you will enjoy that suits your needs.
