This amazing house is located at 1417 Grove Avenue in Richmond’s Historic Fan District. The original house was devastated by a house fire. But today the interior and exterior are being revitalized. When complete, green features will include solar photovoltaic array for electricity, solar thermal for hot water, solar tubes for interior lighting, skylights, a “green” roof, a living wall, rain garden, native plants, local tiles and sustainable woods. All that, and it’s a planned LEED Platinum home.
