Unity Ride for Sickle Cell Disease will roar out April 30, organized by the Sickle Cell Association of Richmond-OSCAR in partnership with The Ladies of Elegance Social Club and the Bike Committee for SC. Clubs and riders can register in advance by calling 804-400-5473 or 305-3744. The staging location is the Petersburg Health Department, 301 Halifax St, Petersburg. On-site registration is from 8– 10 am. The fee is $15 per rider / $20. A variety of juices and pastries will be given out at registration. The final destination is Second Baptist Church, 3300 Broad Rock Blvd. in Richmond arriving at 10:45 am. All proceeds benefit The Sickle Cell Association of Richmond-OSCAR.
