Hi Torski,
I just got a job offer 2 days ago. The employer sent me an email telling me I would receive a formal offer letter on the same day. It’s been 2 days and I have not received an offer letter . Should I be concerned?
I wrote to the employer expressing my interest in starting training soon and followed up on the offer letter that was mentioned in the email. Was this appropriate?
Would appreciate any advice you can give me.
Thank you very much,

Dear Ready to Start,
I think your response via email was very appropriate. Have you since heard anything further from the employer? Most employers will actually mail an “official” offer letter via mail or send an attachment via email for speedy follow-up, as most job seekers will not move on a resignation from their current employer without one.
Like any company, hiring managers have competing priorities and have their attention pulled in many different directions. If you still have not heard from the company, I would follow up with a phone call at this point to the individual that verbally offered you the job to better understand next steps and make sure that your offer hasn’t fallen through the cracks.
Claiming nothing but success in all your career endeavors,
