The Petersburg Area Art League is pleased to announce its upcoming special event, “The Hollywood in Black & White Gala.” This year’s gala will have a silver screen theme and will be held at New Millennium Studios on Saturday, September 29 at 7 p.m. The evening will include appetizers, dinner, dessert, music, dancing, special attractions, and a silent auction. The glamour of Hollywood will begin immediately as guests step out of their cars onto a red carpet lined with photographers and continue through the evening with many contemporary twists, including martini bars, trend-setting entrée and dessert “deliveries,” and more.
“Everyone is invited to this wonderful evening, and we are encouraging people to make it a fun evening with friends, neighbors, and family,” said Russell Kvasnicka, the President of the Board for PAAL. “If you haven’t been to one of PAAL’s galas, please join us for this one!” added Kvasnicka.
The annual gala is the primary fundraiser for PAAL, and allows the non-profit organization to raise funds to support its programming throughout that year. From the Art Park Summer Concert Series, to classes for youth, to adult workshops and gallery exhibits, PAAL’s mission is to empower the community through the visual arts.
The gala event would not be possible without the support of local sponsors: JT Morriss & Son Funeral Home, WestStar Mortgage, New Kent Winery, Ende Medical Practice, William H. Talley & Son, Barbara Lucy and Marlon Dance, Houchins Pest Control, Bill and Sandy Bogese, and Charles White.
