Loving The Messiah Feeds the Homeless

Bon Air Baptist Church presents Handel’s Messiah on Sunday, December 9, 2012.  This free concert features the powerful music and voices of Bon Air Baptist Church’s All-Campus Choir and Orchestra, plus gifted guest soloists:   Lisa Edwards-Burrs, Tracee Prillaman, Jeff Prillaman, and James Lynn.  There are two performances at 3:30pm and at 7:00 pm.  Child care is provided for the 3:30pm concert.

The most beautiful part of Bon Air Baptist’s annual Christmas concert is the loving fellowship that takes place between the two choral performances.  The church invites guests from The Healing Place, The Good Samaritan Inn, and Freedom House to this Christmas concert tradition every year.  Our choir members, youth, young adults, whole families, and many other caring volunteers, will pause between performances of Handel’s Messiah to fellowship and to serve a meal to our local homeless neighbors.

Want to be part of something very special during the Christmas season?  Join us for Handel’s Messiah on Sunday, December 9, 2012 where we will celebrate a King who has a world on His heart.  Join us as we sing and we serve.
