Quality Moving Services and New Life Outreach International Church Team up to Provide Assistance to Super Storm Sandy Victims

Chesterfield, VA – In the wake of Super Storm Sandy, several local businesses and residents heeded the call to
help New York and New Jersey residents as they try to deal with catastrophic property damage, continued
power outages and lack of accessibility to general necessities; Quality Moving Services and New Life Outreach
International Church
, were two such organizations. Quality Moving Services president, and member of the
New Life congregation, Vincent Tucker, handled the transportation portion of the mission last Thursday with
two large QMS trucks filled with cases of water donated by church and community members. “I was looking
for ways that I or my business could reach out, so when I was approached by New Life, I jumped at the chance
to help.” Tucker placed Not For Hire signs on the trucks from his fleet that were being used for the drop-off so
that they would not have any issues entering into the city. Being familiar with travelling the busy corridor,
Tucker and crew were prepared for the usual roadblocks. “We left at midnight and drove through the night to
avoid any traffic or congestion issues.” Once they arrived in Bronx, NY, they were welcomed by other New Life
Outreach International members from the area. The excitement was overwhelming for the four man crew.
“Just seeing so many people reaching out to help was a great experience,” Tucker added.

Quality Moving Services was established in 1989 to serve the local communities with professional relocation
services that are dependable, honest, and responsive to client’s needs. Having relocated thousands of clients
out of apartment homes, houses, and offices they have received the highest customer service and service
ratings from their clients. Tucker credits the company’s roots in the community as one reason for their
success, “being locally owned and independently operated, we have the advantage of dealing directly with our
customers, so when tragedies like these occur, we feel moved to help other communities the way we would
our own.”
