One Voice Chorus presents two concerts of African American spirituals, “Never Turn Back.” More than 120 singers from throughout metro Richmond will perform on March 13, 7 pm, St. Giles Presbyterian Church, 5200 Grove Ave. and March 20, 7pm, Ebenezer Baptist Church, 216 W. Leigh St. Channel 12 news anchor Sabrina Squire will narrate both performances. One Voice Artistic Director Glen McCune and Associate Conductor Frank Williams will lead the singers in stirring renditions of classic arrangements from the past as well as new interpretations. The audience is invited to arrive one hour before the performance and participate in pre-concert conversation, “Harmony in Living Black & White,” focusing on opportunities to enhance racial harmony in Richmond. $15 donation, children free.
