Troubles Won’t Last Always shows you that life continues in spite of obstacles put before you, and trouble won’t last always. It shows the importance of family support and their prayers. As you read, your heart will go out to Mia who searches for love in all the wrong places. You’ll feel for her mom Imani, the pillar of the family who holds everyone together until life throws her a curve ball. You will want to meet Jasmine and Summer who bring their own dramas to the table. Michelle Caple Taylor does a wonderful job keeping a reader on the edge of her seat. I found myself angry, crying and I caught myself saying “No, don’t do it” But I got the author’s message that I must forgive. Let’s see what Michelle had to say about her book.
How important do you feel Christian fiction is?
MCT: It is very important. We need a medium to put a positive energy out there, without feeling so holy. Everything you do should be for the glory of God. To maintain our integrity, we need more Christian fiction books on our shelves.
What is the message for those who read Trouble Won’t Last Always?
MCT: I want the readers to know that God is a friend. God is the center foundation to successful and genuine relationships.
How important is it for people to forgive?
MCT: I think that forgiveness can help you move forward in life. So it is very important.
Mia married three times. Why did you choose to have her first two husbands become godfathers to her children of her third marriage?
MCT: I want women to know that when you end relationships and children are part of that relationship, the person still remains an integral part of the child’s life. I’m trying to show family unity and strength.
Who is your favorite character?
MCT: Jasmine, because of her honor towards life and being able to be a Jack of all trades. Her humor helped her through a lot of situations.
