VSU awarded grant to expand digital textbook use
Thanks to a generous $50,000 grant from Dominion Resources, Virginia State University will now be expanding its digital textbook program, with the hopes of cutting down textbook costs for students.

Soul Bowl raises over $70,000 for charity

Since 2007, the Soul Bowl Lounge has been held at AMF Shrader Lanes, and the response has been fantastic. So good, in fact, that Avail Marketing, creator of the event, has raised over $70,000 for various charities and nonprofits since its inception. The event raised $15,000 last year alone.
