Urban Views Weekly is looking for a talented professional to anchor our creative team. Print responsibilities include designing layouts, graphics and collateral materials for a weekly newspaper. Web responsibilities include updating website, site maintenance and design. Successful candidate will also create original advertising for print and web.
Must be expert in Adobe Creative Suite 3: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Flash. Should have expertise with HTML, CSS.
This is a 40 hour per week, work from home/Telecommute position. Individual should have a professional home studio/office with high speed Internet. Proven experience working autonomously, with little direct supervision.
Weekly staff meetings in our Richmond, Va. office will be required.
The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, possess a strong sense of design, demonstrate competency with ad copy plus have a passion for advertising. Individual must be able to multi-task and work efficiently under deadlines.
