Watching the news has brought to my attention how many challenges we are facing in our daily lives. There is a need to determine our purpose in life and how to stay focused on a daily basis. Images of Destiny (Kingdom Rule Publishing, $15) was written by Ariane Lathoya Carter, who has discovered a way to help us along the way with writing poetry in a unique way. She calls it “prophetic poetry.” It is very inspiring and filled with steps you can take as you discover your purpose and walk in your destiny. Let’s see what the author has to say about her style of poetry.
What inspired you to write prophetic poetry?
Although I have always written poetry, my poetry has taken a twist within the past five years. When I began to seek the voice of God during my private time, I began to feel the challenges that people were facing around me. The language of my poetry was reversed. I have been faced with so many challenges that I now call “Testimonies of Faith,” and I wanted to help others in the same predicament through the power of prophetic writing. I don’t want to just write, I want to help people write their future and their destiny.
