Owning and operating a small business can be one of the greatest challenges in a person’s life, especially during a time of economic decline better known as a “recession.” This is not the first recession nor will it be the last. It is a natural part of the economic cycle. Therefore, a business owner’s focus must be to envision and discover the unique opportunities presently available in the marketplace. The goal is to ride the wave of this recession and not succumb to the pressure. Developing a marketing strategy that positions you for success is the first step.
