Why start an exercise program now? Usually bikini season, vacation, or the thought of attending a wedding is enough incentive to get moving. But with summer almost over, what will get you moving now? Our mindset is for a season but the heart beats for a lifetime. The heart is the most important muscle in your body.
Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is claiming the lives of too many women. According to the American Heart Association, CVD is the number one killer of all women with minority women facing the highest risk of death. CVD is not just one specific disease. It is a term technically referring to any disease that affects the cardiovascular system. Please go see your doctor immediately if you have symptoms such as high blood pressure, chest pain or discomfort, pain in the arms, shoulder, neck, jaw, back or shortness of breath.
In what shape is your heart? A cardiovascular exercise program can provide a healthy body, healthy lifestyle and more importantly a strong and healthy heart. No matter what the season, you can design a cardiovascular program to suit your lifestyle:
