Many times you won’t see it coming and you will be totally unprepared. For many it can be devastating. I decided to Google the phrase “Hurt in the Church” and was amazed at the number of hits I found on this subject.
So I ask the question: How do you overcome this hurt? “Church Hurt: The Wounded Trying To Heal”(Creation House, $14.99) came across my desk for review and I believe that author Dr. Angela L. Corprew-Boyd will open up dialogue on this tough topic and provide you with ways to begin the healing process. We don’t like to admit that a person could be wounded by friendly fire in the church but it truly does happen. She prepares you to come into the realization that you have been wounded, you’re not alone and you can heal. Dr. Corprew-Boyd will give believers and non-believers hope for the future in spite of wounds they have been festering for years.
