On Saturday night, I had determined my Sunday morning would be leisurely. When I woke, I made every attempt not to go outside. I just didn’t want to move from my cozy down comforter. It felt very assuring to be wrapped up in my jumbled sheets, head on pillow doing nothing but snoozing. Suddenly I remembered one of my favorite worship services was streaming live on the Internet-The Potter’s House.
I ran frantically around the house, yelling, “Where’s the laptop?” If only I had I stopped and surveyed the room, I would have seen it was in arms reach. After the computer slowly warmed, there it was: active worship in full swing! The worship leader and the harmonizing praise team were amazing. The spirit of thanksgiving reverberated not only in the Potter’s House, but in my spirit. And then I heard, “Hey, I told them you were coming to the picnic.”
