The study involved watching 65 people who had a history of strokes and another 65 who had never had one. Vitamin C was found to have been at lower levels in those who had strokes than those who didn’t. Though the findings are not finalized (they will be presented in Philadelphia at the end of April), they are revolutionary because it may help to save lives. Guavas are fruits found in tropical countries and are often used as a key ingredient in different fruit beverages as well as a condiment. They contain 228.3mg of vitamin C per 100g.
This delicious fruit contains 58.8mg per 100g. Strawberries can be used as a snack and as added ingredients in desserts.
An underrated fruit, green kiwi is often overlooked because the general public does not know how to correctly peel it. However, despite its tough exterior, kiwi also contains 92.7mg of vitamin C per 100g.
Often not liked by children, this vegetable is great to eat because of the amount of vitamin C in it: 89.2mg per 100g. Broccoli is good as a side dish with any type of meat and some even enjoy it with melted cheese on it.
